LanguageCert SELT exams for Study in UK visas
If you are looking to study in the UK, you may need to prove your English language level in order to obtain a UK student visa.
To prove your English language skills, you must take a 4-skills SELT exam, i.e. a Listening, Reading, Writing & Speaking SELT exam at the appropriate level, depending on the minimum UKVI requirement for your visa type.
The minimum requirements per Study visa type are as follows.

- If your language competence is higher than the minimum Listening, Reading, Writing & Speaking levels required for your visa type, you can choose to take a higher-level exam, which will also cover your application requirement.
