PeopleCert and International House World Organisation sign strategic partnership agreement

London, 18 January, 2019

We are extremely proud to announce that PeopleCert has partnered with IHWO (International House World Organisation), to offer the global learners’ community a rich selection of certifications spanning a variety of different yet complementary knowledge fields.

The LanguageCert portfolio of language qualifications is made available to IH member schools worldwide, alongside PeopleCert’s wide range of market-leading certifications in Business and IT-related fields, through innovative and flexible exams. This novelty combination of different educational and certification subjects reflects a bold diversification strategy of IHWO, and the unique capability of PeopleCert to offer Ofqual-approved, internationally recognised English language qualifications, Global Best Practice certificates including leading brands such as ITIL® and PRINCE2® and many more. The alliance also underpins the shared capabilities of the two organisations to cater to the ever-growing, varied needs of learners globally.

Henry Tolley, Business Development Head of LanguageCert commented: “International House is a leading brand of schools, abiding by the highest standards in language education, which LanguageCert values greatly. We are excited at the opportunity of working with IH across all the different countries, and offer unparalleled on-demand exam flexibility, also shortening the time window from registration to certification, which make exams feasible even for one week or two-week courses.”

Furthermore, he added: “Schools think differently about their businesses and are also looking at areas other than language education, so we are offering them the opportunity to differentiate and expand their businesses by adding I.T. and Business training and examinations. This is something they had no access to and haven’t done before, so we can give them value-adding alternatives to what they are already doing”.

Many IH members are already LanguageCert Approved Test Centres, providing the next generation of language qualifications to their students. PeopleCert offers academic and marketing guidance and support to all IH members joining the big LanguageCert family for the successful delivery of its language qualifications in English, Spanish and Turkish. IHWO also encourages its members to become Accredited Test Centres of PeopleCert, expanding their services through offering Business and IT examinations. PeopleCert will fully support all IH members through the accreditation and onboarding process, and the certification cycle going forward.

Lucy Horsefield, Chief Operating Officer of IWHO commented: LanguageCert is an excellent partner for the IH network. Everyday our schools strive to offer a high-quality, personalised language learning service to their students that will help them achieve their academic, work or travel goals. LanguageCert has a similar commitment to quality and innovation and the exams are very flexible so they complement our offer perfectly.
