LanguageCert International ESOL SELT A2 (Speaking & Listening) is a two-skills exam in English, aligned to A2 CEFR level.

About LanguageCert International ESOL SELT A2 (Speaking & Listening) exam

  • It is a short online conversation with a live interlocutor 
  • It lasts 9-11 minutes
  • Each candidate is examined individually
  • Topics and tasks are based on practical experience

After your exam you will receive a Test Report that shows your score and your unique reference number (URN). If you have met the score required for your UK visa, your need to include your URN in your visa application.

  • Situational role plays: Initiating and responding appropriately in social situations.

  • Exchanging information: Exchanging information around a given image / set of images.

  • Listen and Respond: Answering questions on a short monologue delivered by the interlocutor.

  •  Long turn: Delivering a short, uninterrupted talk on a relevant topic, provided by the interlocutor.
