When is the renewal date if I take my exam today?

Your certification will remain valid for three years from the date you take the exam, ensuring your credentials are up to date until the same day and month in 2027.

Can I renew a certificate that has been discontinued?

Yes, you can renew your certification by passing an exam within the same product suite. Certifications that require renewal and the associated Product Suites are detailed here. For instance, if your PRINCE2 6th certification has passed its “renew by” date, you can renew it by successfully completing either the PRINCE2 7 Practitioner or PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exams. Additionally, accruing CPD points is another way to maintain the currency of your certification.

Can I continue to add CPD points for certificate renewal?

Yes, you can still add CPDs to achieve renewal of your chosen certificate. The discontinuation of certification exams does not affect your ability to log CPD points, ensuring you can still renew your certificate successfully.

Can I claim my digital badge after the certification exams are discontinued?

Yes, successfully passing the certification exam enables you to claim your digital badge. However, ensure you complete the exam before its discontinuation date to secure your badge.

What happens if I miss the exam discontinuation date?

Missing the exam discontinuation date means you will be unable to take the exam. To avoid this, we advise scheduling your exam ahead of time, ensuring you meet the deadline.

Is it possible to transfer my voucher to another certification module?

No, vouchers are non-transferable and are valid only for the certification module for which they were originally purchased. To enroll in a different certification, a new voucher must be acquired specifically for that module.

Are there any anticipated changes to the exam's format or content before it is discontinued?

No current plans exist to alter the exam format or content before the discontinuation date. Should any changes arise, we will provide timely updates to keep candidates fully informed.

Will discontinuation affect my ongoing certification journey?

If you're already on the path to certification, we advise finishing all requirements, including the exam, before the discontinuation date to guarantee an uninterrupted certification process.

Can I get a partial refund since the validity period of my purchased voucher, which was for 1 year, is now reduced?

Our vouchers are issued with a validity period of up to a year, contingent on the specific certification's availability. The price of the voucher encompasses more than just its validity period; it includes access to comprehensive content assets and resources tailored to enhance your learning experience, as well as support for the certification process to maintain fairness, precision, and adherence to industry standards. Given these considerations, we are unable to offer partial refunds for adjustments in voucher validity.
